South Africa squad captain John Smit has fired the first shot in the psychological battle against Australia, claiming his side is the underdog for their World Cup quarter-final clash in Wellington.World champions South Africa has won just one of its last six matches against the Wallabies.
The Springboks lost twice in this year's Tri Nations and in 2010 they were defeated on the South African highveld for the first time in almost 50 years.
